Students will identify and/or demonstrate Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP).
Standard 4:
Identify and/or implement appropriate environmental space arrangement.
Indicator 4A)
Arrange the physical characteristics of a classroom (i.e. floor coverings, permanent fixtures, storage for materials, color, children's display and personal storage, child size furniture).
Indicator 4B)
Understand spatial arrangements (i.e. quiet, active, wet, dry, centers, group, and individual space).
Performance Objective #7:
Draft or evaluate a DAP learning environment.
Learning Targets:
Students will demonstrate their knowledge of spatial arrangement by creating their own preschool layout.
